A little more about me

I am an EDI Analyst and Entry-Level Web Developer looking to apply and further improve my programming skills. A skilled self-starter with a penchant for best practices, a finesse for detail, and capable of quickly adapting to new changes. A meticulous programmer who enjoys the entire design process: from requirement gathering and analysis to implementation to completion and deployment. Always committed to any given task, always willing and ready to contribute to any group, and always ready to learn more.

I have a programming background and over 10 years of work experience as a programmer, research assistant, and EDI analyst and coordinator, which has given me the chance to work with individuals of different backgrounds and levels of expertise. During that time, I developed an affinity for understanding their requirements while exceeding expectations and adhering to industry standards.

I recently completed a 6-month intensive full-stack web development training course, where I developed several websites using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ruby on Rails. I currently continue to hone and strengthen my skills with various programming projects.

Besides programming, I also like to draw. I usually draw in a very manga-like style, a trait that developed after much exposure to anime back in my childhood. In addition to drawing, I also enjoy 3D modeling. I know the basics of it, but it is a skill that I would eventually want to hone as well.

Other interests and hobbies include sports, reading, travelling and exploring the world, and learning new things.
